Importance of statues and sculptures

Statues and sculptures have always been an integral part of museums and art history. Moreover, they become more and more popular as decoration items in private homes and office facilities. The three-dimensional objects are therefore no longer exclusively exhibited as fine art sculpture statues in museums and galleries. Sculptures and miniatures have become more and more popular as decoration items and long term, valuable art investments.

Since early Egyptian, Roman and Greek times, art sculptures have always been integral parts of human expression and art history. Many famous life size and miniature sculptures and figurines can be seen today in museums and sculpture gardens around the world.
Especially traditional sculptures, for example Roman sculptures and Greek sculptures, show high durability and expensive raw materials such as marble. Common materials for a sculpture have been stone, bronze, metal or copper. Especially smaller bronze sculpture objects and ceramic sculptures are popular in the lower price segment statues wholesale. As today less expensive and smaller statues are available (made of terracotta, stone or wood), for example animal sculpture objects, Thai or Japanese buddha sculpture statues or figurines, are highly requested, colourful decoration and collecting items, the miniature wholesale sector is steadily increasing.
